Selçuk
After a lovely evening in Bergama, we headed (further) south to Selçuk, the city closest to famed Greek-then-Roman ruins Ephesus.
The amphitheater is said to hold
more than 10,000 people.
This is the one shot of the stage I was able to get without 10+ tourists. Just the one!
The library is unreal: its enormity, its resilience, its unbelievable beauty.
Gorgeous statue at the library.
Even the ceilings are perfectly detailed.
View of the library from the side.
Walk, handsomely showing off the column.
Turkish pizza. This is a real thing and it's glorious.
